It’s like we speak different languages and can’t communicate

Being able to communicate is such a high priority for long-term happiness in marriage. But, sometimes it can feel like the two of you are talking past one another. Like you are speaking a different language.

You’re not alone. This happens to every married couple, including the communication experts here at StrongerMarriages!

One of the key things to being able to communicate with your spouse is learning what they deem important in communication and honoring that while allowing them to extend you the same courtesy. But while this is an easy thing to say, it can be a difficult thing to do.

We’ve gathered a few resources and tools to help teach you and your spouse how to communicate better and then put a practical spin on what you’ve learned. Please check them out. You’ll be surprised at what the two of you have been missing!
